2014 Grant Cycle Deadline
The Fund for Southern Communities is pleased to
announce that our next proposal deadline is Friday, September 5, 2014. Complete applications
must be in the FSC office by 5:00 pm EST September 5, 2014 (no
exceptions). A

THIS IS WHAT MOVEMENT BUILDING LOOKS LIKE
Last
fall Haymarket People's Fund convened all of our grantees for our third
annual grantee gathering in collaboration with Episcopal City Mission
Burgess Fund. We had over 130 community activist attend representing
over 40 grantee organizations. Out of these gatherings we try to foster
a collaborative environment and it has worked. Many groups have learned
about each others' work and have decided to collaborate. Here are two
examples of how collaborations have come out of our grantee gathering
